April 18 – Marathon Results
I dont have all the details yet but I do know my official time is 3:31:59. This was short of two out of my three goals: to nail a 3:25 or better, to achieve a personal best of 3:28:43 or better and to achieve a better time versus last year which was a 3:45.
I am disappointed yet I have no regrets whatsoever. Despite having a tailwind today (a rarity for this race), it is still a tough course. The event is awesome. I will provide way more details in another post.
I am tired, a bit sore but very satisfied. I am a lucky guy.
I have this whole thing in perspective. And I also had a great dinner tonight, ate everything I wanted, drank whatever I wanted. I am now heading to bed so I can catch an early morning flight home.
Thanks to all for support and kind sentiments. They mean the world to me.
